Dress to Impress at the 4th Annual Venetian Mask Ball

Coming up this Saturday, FEB 22, 2014 The 4th Annual Venetian Mask Ball, themed event “Lamia” hosted by DJ Nocturna and Lana Saldania will be held at two locations:

The Venetian feast and Supper Club as celebrated like in Italy will take place at The Dragon Upstairs (1038 Nuuanu Ave, Honolulu, Hawaii) from 6pm-9pm featuring authentic Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine from Kan Zaman and special performance by bellydancer Anjanette Thomas. Please go here for dinner menu and to purchase tickets.

The After party (at 80s Pop Muzik) and costume contest will take place at Bar 35 (35 North Hotel St, Honolulu, Hawaii) from 9pm to 2am featuring music and dancing with DJs Nocturna, Rhombus and special guest GSpot and a Venetian Contest Contest with Cash Prizes for the most creative costume and most creative mask.

The 4th Annual Venetian Mask Ball was inspired by the Carnival of Venice held annually in Venice, Italy and perhaps the most celebrated event throughout Italy and it is also inspired by the classic motion picture directed, produced and co-written by the great director, the late Stanley Kubrick called Eyes Wide Shut. Sadly, this is Kubrick’s last film, taken from writer, Arthur Schnitzler’s 1926 novella Dream Story.

Thank you to Bar 35, Sensually Yours, Universal Art- Lana Saldania and Nephilim Halls
